IMPORTANT – VISA & SUPPORTING LETTER | GET YOUR VISA & SUPPORT LETTER (new suggested approach) | If you and your team are planning to attend SIAL China 2023, this is a friendly reminder to contact the embassy to obtain more information and to apply now for your Chinese business VISA as timing is tight. At this moment, the embassy is not releasing any tourist VISA.
You will need a support letter to apply to your VISA. The official organizers are now suggesting that everyone reach out to inform you that there is a dedicated partner which name is Orient Event Service, able to create official visa letters for the exhibitors for a price around 30$. Their visa letters enable to have a better guarantee to be accepted by the Consulate. IMPORTANT FUNDING NOTICE FOR 2023 TRADE ACTIVITIES (NEW):
Canada Pork funding agreement is coming to an end on March 31, 2023, and the government will be launching shortly the Next Policy Framework for the upcoming 5-year term. Canada Pork will be submitting a new AgriMarketing application for the Canadian Pork industry to continue to offer its programs, services and products to your team.
Starting April 1st, Canada Pork cannot guarantee funding to members until the government approves our new 5 year-term action plan. The government could approve our plan only in late fall 2023.
We invite everyone who plans to participate an activity/event to apply for funding through the usual steps.
NOTICE BEFORE BOOKING YOUR FLIGHT : For activities happening after March 31, 2023, such as SIAL China, we suggest that all members book their flight after April 1, 2023, for AgriMarketing funding approval purposes.
